About Me
Dogs have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. For over 23 years, I worked in veterinary medicine, helping care for animals during every stage of life. Through that experience, I learned that behavior, health, and the human-animal bond are deeply connected — and that true success comes from understanding the whole picture, not just fixing surface behaviors.
My path into dog training grew naturally from that foundation. I saw owners who loved their dogs deeply but felt overwhelmed, frustrated, or unsure of how to help them. I knew there had to be a better way to guide both dogs and their people toward clarity, confidence, and lasting results.
My Journey Into Training
I didn’t start out planning to be a dog trainer — I just loved being around animals and figuring out how they think. My journey began with Natural Horsemanship, learning to train and ride a horse without a saddle or bridle. That experience taught me a powerful lesson early on: trust and communication and training always matter more than control. It shaped the way I approach my training.
Over the years, I found myself drawn to the challenge of helping dogs understand us, and helping people understand them. What started as curiosity grew into a passion: watching a dog finally “get it,” and seeing an owner’s face light up when they realized they could communicate clearly with their dog.
Training became a way for me to combine patience, creativity, and problem-solving, turning everyday challenges into breakthroughs. Each dog teaches me something new, and each owner inspires me to adapt, innovate, and make training meaningful in real life. That’s why my approach is personal, practical, and focused on building confidence — for both the dog and the owner.
My Training Approach
I believe the relationship you have with your dog is the foundation of all successful training. My approach is motivational and balanced, focusing on clear communication, consistency, and real-world application. Every dog is different, and training should never be one-size-fits-all.
Whether you’re working on basic obedience, off-leash reliability, or behavior modification, I customize each program to fit your dog, your lifestyle, and your goals. My role isn’t just to train your dog — it’s to teach you how to confidently communicate with your dog long after our sessions are over.
A little About Life
Outside Of Training
When I’m not working with dogs, I enjoy spending time outdoors — backpacking, hiking, camping, and exploring nature whenever I can. I also love off-roading in my 4Runner, traveling, and making memories with my friends and family. Being outside and staying active is a big part of who I am, and it keeps me grounded, inspired, and energized for the work I love.

Why I Do What I Do
This community has always been home to me, and I take pride in helping local families build strong, successful relationships with their dogs. Watching owners grow more confident and dogs gain clarity is what makes this work so fulfilling.
Training isn’t about perfection — it’s about progress, trust, and building a partnership that lasts.
